I'm not an expert on the different companies offering Puerh yet but there is one company run by a friend of mine, Linda Louie. It's Bana Tea Company. I think she sells only Puerh so it's certainly a specialty tea company. I'm partial to her Purple Tips Puerh available right now. She likes the raw, young Puerh much like I do. In the future I'll have a list like this of companies I can recommend but for now Bana is enough. http://www.jasonwitt.org/teaternity.html

Loose Leaf Tea

What an excellent blog entry. Thanks for sharing it with me.

I love teas from Bio3 Natural Health Products. I've had a hard time finding it in the states but was able to order it online. It was all I drank when I was in Spain for a year. My favorite was the pu-erh tea.

I'm also a fan of Tazo's chai tea. Delish!

Thanks for sharing your list of tea brands...I hadn't heard of some of them!

My personal favorite brand of tea is Rishi Tea (http://www.rishi-tea.com ) which I like both because they have outstanding teas, and because they are a leader in sustainability. Another favorite is Upton Tea (http://www.uptontea.com/ ), which I find has a huge selection and very reasonable prices.

There's also a fairly comprehensive (and growing) list of tea brands on RateTea.net:

I've by no means tried all or even any substantial portion of them, but that might be a good way to discover more brands of tea for those interested in some experimentation!

From a tea lover to another, this is a great list of tea brands. Thanks for sharing.
